Next LS conference
Eric: This is the first time we’re using the terminology “next year’s conference.” We should continue to do these conferences annually in different parts of the world. Canada? Does not necessarily have to be coordinated with ITUC events. A West-coast conference in Vancouver could concentrate on trade unionism in the Pacific basin. If on the east coast, Toronto would be a possibility.

🙂 Toronto on the east coast? Mmm…it’s a big lake I guess, so sure, why not? 🙂
How about a cyber conference? Or some sort of Internet event over several days? Wouldn’t this be more in line with what we do? Wouldn’t it be more of an achievement for LS to get personalities on line rather than just making speeches to an audience? More in line too with ecological concerns, more attractive for mainstream media coverage and of course, less expensive?
