  • English is by far the most used language on LabourStart, but I wanted to add that the French newspage is now the second most visited, having stolen this position from Norwegian; labourstart_fr followers on Twitter have shot up from 6 to 34 in the last few weeks and our archive on Posterous is supplementing readership of our newsletters, some having topped the 1000 pageviews.
    The Foxconn India campaign has beaten records in all languages but in French has topped 300 messages sent, about twice those of recent campaigns except Compass/Algeria in May 2009 which detains the absolute record of over 360.
    “Cocorico!” as we say over here, the chant of the cock… “the only bird to sing with its feet stuck in shit” as one of our beloved comics used to say (Coluche).
