We know that you've already given money to support the victims of the earthquake/tsunami. We're now asking you to give more. This time, directly to a trade union in the worst-affected area.
The DPP FSP Kahutindo (Wood and Forestry Workers Union in Indonesia has issued an urgent appeal for funds for the Aceh and North Sumatra regions.
The International Federation of Building and Wood Workers (IFBWW), one of the global union federations, issued an appeal to all its affiliated unions around the world to donate generously.
But that appeal requires donors to make a bank transfer to an Indonesian bank account. We suggested to the IFBWW that we should make the process easier -- to allow people like yourselves to donate online securely, using your debit or credit card.

All money collected will be passed on to the IFBWW. They in turn will pass on the money to their affiliate in Indonesia.
