Photo of the week

Photo of the week.
Last week unions across Canada marked the 20th anniversary of the deaths of 26 miners in the Westray disaster. Their deaths resulted in a law making employers criminally responsible for the deaths of workers. The law is rarely applied. The photo is of a memorial to the workers near where they died. (Photo: L. Endicott/Our Times) Click here to read more labour news from Canada and here to read more about the Westray distaster at Our Times.Got a photo that should be here? Post it via Flickr.
