No Sweat UK has produced a comic book based on real events that readers of LabourStart are likely to remember.
In 2001, in Puebla, central Mexico, hundreds of sweatshop workers took on the local police, judges, bosses and big corporations in a fight for dignity at work and an independent union.
They won.
This handsomely produced comic book, drawn by Andy Vine, tells their story.
Of particular interest to LabourStart readers will be the scene where the computer in the office of the boss announces "you have 20,000 new emails!"
This is probably the first time a global trade union solidarity internet campaign has gotten mentioned in a comic book.
This comic book is essential reading for everyone who wants to understand the issue of workers rights and global solidarity.
Please buy a bunch. We are selling the comics at cost (the price includes postage). You can pay in US dollars, Euros or British pounds securely using your credit card.
