We&#8217;re shared the news widely on LabourStart and across social media and will probably be closing the campaign very soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fundraising:<\/strong> Our September <a href=\"https:\/\/labournewsnetwork.org\/2025\/09\/02\/from-turkey-to-the-philippines-this-is-what-solidarity-looks-like\/\">fundraiser<\/a> took in \u00a32,820.84 so far. Reminder mailings have not yet gone out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New campaigns:<\/strong> We are about to launch new campaigns in support of clothing workers in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labourstartcampaigns.net\/show_campaign.cgi?c=5696\">Sri Lanka<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industriall-union.org\/turkish-garment-workers-expose-systematic-harassment-and-union-busting\">Turkey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instagram:<\/strong> With the help of our new intern Joanne we are reviving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/labourstart\/\">this page<\/a>, which has over 750 followers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong> In the first 11 days of September, our volunteer correspondents posted 1,244 news stories, averaging over 113 per day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarus: Some very good news &#8211; a couple of top trade union leaders and many other political prisoners have been released from jail.
