{"id":4788,"date":"2024-05-02T12:57:24","date_gmt":"2024-05-02T10:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=4788"},"modified":"2024-05-02T12:57:24","modified_gmt":"2024-05-02T10:57:24","slug":"interns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=4788","title":{"rendered":"Interns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LabourStart has been lucky to have had some outstanding interns over the last decade or more, and for the last few months &#8212; starting in September 2023, we have had four exceptionally talented young people working with us.<\/p>\n<p>David came to us through the Global Labour University (GLU); he is a labour lawyer from Colombia and was very helpful with many projects, including an upcoming campaign in the city of Medellin.<\/p>\n<p>We had three interns from Cornell University&#8217;s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) &#8212; Isabel, Erin and Salom\u00e9e.\u00a0 They all did excellent work on a number of projects as well as helping us with translations into Korean and French.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to work with GLU and the ILR school, as well as others, to help introduce a new generation of activists to the international trade union movement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LabourStart has been lucky to have had some outstanding interns over the last decade or more, and for the last few months &#8212; starting in September 2023, we have had four exceptionally talented young people working with us.
