{"id":4674,"date":"2022-10-13T16:48:16","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T14:48:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=4674"},"modified":"2022-10-13T16:48:16","modified_gmt":"2022-10-13T14:48:16","slug":"new-campaigns-launched-in-support-of-workers-in-the-philippines-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=4674","title":{"rendered":"New campaigns launched in support of workers in the Philippines, Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apologies for the delay in posting this update.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philippines campaign<\/strong>: We just launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labourstartcampaigns.net\/show_campaign.cgi?c=5198\"><strong>a new campaign in support of workers&#8217; rights in the Philippines<\/strong><\/a>, at the request of the KMU.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Canada campaign<\/strong>: We launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labourstartcampaigns.net\/show_campaign.cgi?c=5171\"><strong>a campaign in support of 28,000 locked out actors<\/strong><\/a> &#8212; initially it was Canada-only, but we&#8217;ve now gone global with it and it has over 5,000 supporters already.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Global Solidarity Conference 2023<\/strong>: Eric will be visiting Tbilisi in another 11 days and will meet with local trade unions and other partners, and visit possible venues for the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Radio Labour<\/strong>: For some reason, the feed of their latest stories had disappeared from our home page.
