We are hopeful that at least one of these<br \/>\nwill result in a campaign shortly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polish campaign<\/strong>: Solidarnosc informed us that the campaign we were planning on is no longer needed, as the workers have won.\u00a0 As we were informed, &#8220;the strike is over and the union leader is back to work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Myanmar campaign<\/strong>: We have a call today with BWI following a decision by the Council of Global Unions to revive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labourstartcampaigns.net\/show_campaign.cgi?c=4951\"><strong>the LabourStart campaign<\/strong><\/a> demanding recognition of the national unity government instead of the military dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fundraising<\/strong>: Last week I reported that we had raised just under \u00a32,800. Today, that number is \u00a33,709, a gain of about \u00a3910 this week.
