In lieu of flowers etc. he left instructions that mourners should make donations to either Our Times (an independent labour magazine) or to LabourStart.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t believe that anyone has done this before.<\/p>\n<p>It is a bit delicate but we&#8217;re trying to think of an appropriate way to draw attention to his request and perhaps in doing so encourage others to follow his example.<\/p>\n<p>The obituary is <a href=\"http:\/\/blackadderonline.blogspot.ca\/2018\/01\/bob-haywood-mourned-as-fierce-trade.html\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Any thoughts on this can be left here or sent to me at Canada@LabourStart.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Derek Blackadder here.
