{"id":3642,"date":"2014-11-16T10:39:23","date_gmt":"2014-11-16T08:39:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=3642"},"modified":"2014-11-16T10:39:23","modified_gmt":"2014-11-16T08:39:23","slug":"our-new-app-a-best-seller-almost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=3642","title":{"rendered":"Our new app &#8211; a best-seller, almost"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the last three days, 83 people have started using our new Android app, and 6 of them have reviewed it &#8212; and all 6 reviews gave it five stars.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>In the Google Play Store, our app ranks 21st on the list of &#8220;Top New Apps&#8221; for the category &#8220;News and Magazines&#8221;.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve not yet done the big publicity mailing, which should reach about 10 times as many people as the publicity so far, so with any luck, we could pick up another 830 new users as a result of this. \u00a0This would push us toward a goal of 1,000 users of the app as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what I&#8217;d like you all to do:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#8217;ve not yet downloaded the app, and you own an Android phone or device, please do so today.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;ve downloaded it but not yet posted a review, please do so.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;d be interested to help with translations of the app into other languages, please let me know.<\/li>\n<li>If you have any skills with app development, especially for other platforms (e.g., Apple iOS), please contact me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last three days, 83 people have started using our new Android app, and 6 of them have reviewed it &#8212; and all 6 reviews gave it five stars.
