{"id":2895,"date":"2013-04-22T13:29:21","date_gmt":"2013-04-22T11:29:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=2895"},"modified":"2013-04-22T13:29:21","modified_gmt":"2013-04-22T11:29:21","slug":"new-country-pages-now-working-in-english","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=2895","title":{"rendered":"New country pages now working in English"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/country.php?country=UK&amp;langcode=en\">UK<\/a> was the first, but now all country pages in English work on the same model.<\/p>\n<p>For example, see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/country.php?country=Canada&amp;langcode=en\">Canada<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/country.php?country=USA&amp;langcode=en\">USA<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/country.php?country=Australia&amp;langcode=en\">Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The state\/province pages under these work fairly well with the new format &#8211; see, for example, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/state.php?country=Canada&amp;langcode=en&amp;state=Ontario\">Ontario<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/state.php?country=Australia&amp;langcode=en&amp;state=New%20South%20Wales\">New South Wales<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the main country pages, the upper left column is reserved for country-specific content. \u00a0In the UK page, for example, we&#8217;re listing some May Day events at the moment. \u00a0For Canada, we&#8217;ll soon be showing logos of unions that support LabourStart.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/2013\/country.php?country=Canada&amp;langcode=fr\">Canadian LS page in French<\/a> is nearly complete and we&#8217;ll soon link to it.<\/p>\n<p>I welcome your comments and suggestions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK was the first, but now all country pages in English work on the same model.
