{"id":2226,"date":"2012-04-06T08:02:07","date_gmt":"2012-04-06T06:02:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=2226"},"modified":"2012-04-06T08:06:54","modified_gmt":"2012-04-06T06:06:54","slug":"weekly-round-up-31-3-6-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=2226","title":{"rendered":"Weekly round-up: 31.3 -6.4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Global union federations:<\/strong> I spent two days this week at the <strong>IUF<\/strong> and discussed, among other things, my participation in their Congress in May. \u00a0The <strong>IMF<\/strong> has asked us to do a new campaign on Kosovo\/Serbia, which we&#8217;ll launch today. \u00a0The new merged GUFs &#8211; <strong>IMF, ICEM<\/strong> and <strong>ITGLWF<\/strong>, have invited me to attend the founding congress of the new federation, called <strong>IndustriALL<\/strong> in Copenhagen in June. \u00a0I contacted <strong>UNI<\/strong> about the Netherlands cleaners campaign which is now two months old; they want us to continue it for another month. <strong>PSI<\/strong> is looking into whether we need to do a Paraguay campaign together.
