{"id":1164,"date":"2010-05-21T12:19:51","date_gmt":"2010-05-21T10:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=1164"},"modified":"2010-05-21T12:19:51","modified_gmt":"2010-05-21T10:19:51","slug":"thai-railway-workers-campaign-closed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/blogs\/?p=1164","title":{"rendered":"Thai railway workers campaign &#8211; closed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/cgi-bin\/solidarityforever\/show_campaign.cgi?c=619\">This campaign<\/a>, launched in early February, has now run its course.<\/p>\n<p>Also, with events in Thailand it may seem odd to be focusing on this issue at this time.<\/p>\n<p>By the end, the campaign attracted <strong>4,039<\/strong> letters of protest in 9 languages.\u00a0 There have been no updates on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itfglobal.org\/news-online\/index.cfm\/newsdetail\/4182\">the ITF site<\/a> since we launched the campaign &#8212; as far as I can tell &#8212; and I&#8217;ve asked them for news.\u00a0 If we&#8217;ve helped at all, we should tell our lists.<\/p>\n<p>I will continue taking down campaigns after three months if we hear nothing from the unions.\u00a0 The next up is the Turkish <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labourstart.org\/cgi-bin\/solidarityforever\/show_campaign.cgi?c=630\">campaign for Seher Tumer<\/a>, due to come down in another five days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This campaign, launched in early February, has now run its course.
