The Heartland Labor Forum is a weekly one-hour radio show by, for and
about working people. It is produced by volunteers for unions and
unorganized workplaces and has been broadcast on KKFI 90.1 Community
Radio in Kansas City since 1989. The show is coordinated by The
Institute for Labor Studies, Kansas City's labor education program. We
cover the workplace, the labor movement, the political economy from
local to global and strive to broaden the perspective of working people
and expand their sense of the possible.
