Book of the Week

Book of the week. It's not every day that we get our book of the week recommended by Bruce Springsteen. Here's what The Boss has to say about this book: "There is a book out right now. It's called Woody Guthrie: A Life. It's by this fellow Joe Klein ... and it's really, it's really a great book." Woody Guthrie was one of the greatest folk singers America ever produced, a true friend of the trade union movement, who had he lived, would have turned 97 on July 14th this year. This is considered to be the best biography of him, just now reissued in paperback, with a new afterword by the author.
